What happens to the negatives? What about reordering prints? Typically you will
get one set of photos and any reprints will have to reorder through the
photographer. Make sure you read your contract carefully. Many photographers own
the negatives and will hold on to them for a period of time. At the end of this
time and/or when they run out of space may give or sell them to you. Finally,
make sure you understand the pricing and packages. If you don't want everything
in the package you may be able to order individual photos for much less.
Choosing the right photographer is a very difficult and tedious job making sure
you hire someone that reflects your style and that helps bring out the best in
you and the groom. There are many good photographers out there. Your job is to
search for the all too perfect photo and the person that will bring it to exist.
